Film Description

A period comedy based on the novel by P.G. Wodehouse. Jim Crocker is a young American journalist living in London in the 1930s, writing a column under the name 'Piccadilly Jim', and whose wild, hard-drinking antics have scandalised his parents. When he meets the refined Ann, he is dismayed to find that she loathes 'Piccadilly Jim', and so he conceives a scheme to win her heart by posing as the upstanding son of his own butler and travelling with her to America.
