Film Description

Walter Salles' remake of the Japanese film of the same name by Hideo Nakata is more emotional and effectively involving than the original. Dahlia Williams is determined to put her relationship with her estranged husband behind her and devote herself to raising her daughter. However, her dilapidated apartment seems to take on a life of its own with mysterious noises, persistent leaks of dark water, and strange happenings which cause her imagination to run wild.
