Review by Barry Forshaw on 13th October 2005

One of Oliver Stone’s most undervalued -- and accomplished -- films makes a welcome appearance on DVD. Eric Bogosian plays a shock jock who thinks that his ship is coming when his show is to become nationally syndicated. His abrasive, insulting style has brought him success, but he finds that verbal danger can easily translate into something much more immediate. Forget such recent Oliver Stone farragos as Alexander: this is the director at his considerable best.
