Film Description

One of the great Shakespearian characters, Falstaff, is here played with gusto by Richard Griffiths. The ageing, overweight rogue hatches a plan to woo two wealthy married women, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page. When the two wives get together they hatch a plan to teach him a lesson.
