Film Description

Tama Janowitz adapted her own novel for this film set among the struggling characters of New York's 'artists' quarter' in the 1980s. Eleanor lives with Stash. Like his artist friends, he is unknown but is waiting for the big break. Eleanor leaves him and gets her big break - as a hat designer.
