Film Description

Although Ralph Smart and Patrick McGoohan’s Danger Man series remains the locus classicus of the best of British 60s thriller TV series, there were other flowers of the field that are now turning up on DVD, notably this private eye outing with scabrous, unsympathetic American actor Richard Bradford as McGill, the itinerant anti-hero. Bradford, prematurely grey and eternally chewing a cigarette (literally), makes McGoohan‘s icy John Drake seem an affable figure, and, as with Danger Man, the cream of the British acting profession of the day passes through the episodes on this chunky boxed set.
