Film Description

Made in 1941 by the Crown Film Unit and directed by Pat Jackson of Western Approaches fame, this documentary focuses on the work of the ATA - the Air Transport Auxiliary. Essentially a dramatised account of typical ATA deliveries, the film is notable for some excellent Spitfire film and rare footage of the Whitley bomber.
