Film Description

Aka Stupeur et Tremblement. A blackly humorous but sophisticated comedy telling of the return of a dreamy young French woman to Japan - the place of her birth. She finds herself overwhelmed by the mysterious machinations of the businesss world she encounters there, and bewildered and frustrated she begins a humiliating decline from translator to toilet attendant before discovering a means of liberation.
