Greenham - The Making Of A Monument (Undercurrents)

Hamish Campbell, 2000

Film Description

In 1981, 36 women, four babies in pushchairs and six men set off from Cardiff to march to RAF Greenham Common in Berkshire where American ground-launched cruise missiles would soon be deployed. They took their local anti-nuclear campaigning to an international level. These were ordinary people doing extraordinary things. This is their story and the story of the making of the monument to their endeavours.
