Film Description

CinemaScope, technicolour western with a strong cast headed by Spencer Tracy as cattle baron Matt Devereaux. A copper smelting plant starts polluting the river running through his land and he heads out to shut it down. Decent film with echoes of King Lear (the daughters are sons).
