Red Lights
Film Description A tense and sophisticated thriller based on a novel by Georges Simenon. On the hottest day of the year, Antoine and Hélène hit the road destined for the South of France. The oppressive heat and gridlocked traffic take their toll though, and as Antoine hits the beer the tension between the bickering couple is pushed to breaking point. Then Hélène goes missing.

Review by Andy McKay on 9th February 2005 A Hitchcockian road thriller that keeps cranking up the tension, spoiled only by a bit of a Spielberg ending. Plotted well but somewhat conventionally, the movie benefits from two strong leads who give necessary weight to their parts - particularly Darrousin. Some characters (and unfortunately one key one) are straight out of central casting and rather cliched but Red lights will keep you glued to the edge of your seat for the duration thanks to a good sense of tension.
