Film Description

Aka Mille Mois. A gentle tragi-comedy set in Morocco. Following the imprisonment of her husband who has been jailed for political activism, Amina and her young son Mehdi move with her father-in-law to a mountain village. They avoid telling Medhi that his father is in prison by maintaining the illusion that he is away working in France. A beautifully photographed film that skilfully combines tragedy and comedy.
