Film Description

Kidman is excellent here as the pathologically ambitious TV weather girl, out to further her career on the small screen at any cost. Based on the real-life case of Pamela Smart, who seduced her 15-year old lover into murdering her husband, this satire on the pursuit of fame is one of Van Sant's most accessible and enjoyable films.
