Scorsese teamed up with Roger Corman to produce this crime drama set in depression-era Arkansas, in which a young girl on the run joins up with gangsters and train robbers in a remorseless campaign of crime. Based on the memoirs of Bertha Thomson. This is the version shown on American TV.
