Film Description

The black market blossoms in a US army camp in West Germany just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Joaquin Phoenix is a Hawkeye for the 1980s, selling everything from firearms to heroin, in this likeable black comedy. After premiering two days before 9/11, the film was denied wide distribution due its perceived anti-American sentiments.
