The Holy Mountain (Fanck) (Masters of Cinema)
Film Description Aka 'The Holy Mountain: A Heroic Song from a Towering World of Heights'. Fanck's classic 'Bergfilm' was written specifically with Leni Riefenstahl in mind as the blonde dancer caught in a love triangle. A tale of misunderstanding and peril in a monumental setting, Riefenstahl's 'Dance to the Sea' is iconic, and the mountain scenes are grand.
