Film Description

Set in 1943 during the German occupation of Rome, Peck stars as an Irish priest who devotes his time outside of Vatican work to hiding allied POW's from the Nazis. He is suspected by the Gestapo, but they can do nothing because of the Vatican's immunity. Then they find proof of his complicity and order his capture if he should be seen outside the Vatican walls.
