Film Description

A French meadow on a summer’s day is the setting for this incredible, highly-acclaimed film that takes its microscopic cameras into the heart of the insect world. This is as close as you will ever get to the cunning, passionate, comic and vicious world of insects. A wonderful close-up, slo-mo, time-lapse film, with sparse narration that lets you focus on the marvel of nature at work.

It is a miniature environment where a single raindrop causes havoc, where an underwater spider makes a home out of an air bubble and a colony of ants faces a massacre when a pheasant attacks, where a determined Beetle struggles to relocate his ball of dung, where snails get amorous and a mosquito is born.
