Les Espions
Film Description An ambitious and knotty tale of espionage set in a dilapidated psychiatric hospital. A down at heel doctor is offered a substantial sum of money by the US military to shelter a new patient. Soon the beds are full of spies all with an interest in him. A real treat for Clouzot fans.

Review by Barry Forshaw on 12th November 2003 A very welcome DVD issue for Clouzot's rarely seen comic thriller, graced with a very eclectic cast, including Curd Jurgens and Peter Ustinov (as well as the director's wife, Vera, so memorable in Les Diaboliques).
