Review by AH on 18th March 2003

Noggin the Nog is a 260 minute double cassette containing the entire canon of Noggin works from the black and white original in 1959 to the vibrant colour of 1980.

Powerful, gentle, human stories, simply told by a teller with wonderful timing and total control of our emotions, coupled with beautiful drawings, stunning characterisation and minimal animation.

These stories have not just survived the test of time, they are fresher and more involving than anything else that you are likely to see on the big or small screen this year. Whether you are experiencing the gentleness and determination of Noggin, the beauty of Nooka, his queen, the horriblenes of Nogbad the Bad and the green bird Graculus for the first time or bringing back old memories, this will be one of your favourites for a long time to come.
