A Taste of Honey
Film Description A lively tale of a pregnant Salford teenager, her mother, and her unlikely friendship with a homosexual. Time has left its mark on many of the innovative British new wave films of the Sixties, but Richardson's affecting film of Shelagh Delaney's play remains as fresh and powerful as ever. Rita Tushingham's groundbreaking performance looks as fresh today as it did when the film first appeared.
