Film Description

The comic adventures of Dr Sparrow and his medical friends after he graduates from Doctor in the House to find himself a nice little country practice. Contains all 29 episodes. With scripts from writers such as Bill Oddie, Graeme Garden, John Cleese, Graham Chapman and Jonathan Lynn, Doctor at Large was a huge hit for ITV. One episode - No Ill Feeling! - written by John Cleese and featuring a manic, ill-tempered hotelier, was a prototype for what was to become Basil Fawlty.
