Film Description

The film that triggered the hype surrounding Colin Farrell remains Joel Schumacher’s finest hour. In a plot which recalls the opening third of Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket, a group of soldiers are sent to Ft. Polk, LA as the last training stage before being sent to Vietnam. Farrell delivers a charismatic performance as the rebellious recruit whose leadership skills infuriate the sadistic sergeants.
