Film Description

Between 1938 and 1939 a large group of children, mostly Jews, were sent by their parents from Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia to the safety of England where foster families took care of them for the duration of the war. Years later 11 of these children tell their stories. A haunting and deeply moving story, bringing home the horrors of war from a child's perspective, handled with compassion and sensitivity.
