The Devils Backbone
Film Description Set during the final days of the Spanish Civil War in an isolated orphanage, a group of adults and children hide away from the war's brutal realities. But they are haunted by the spirit of a dead boy, who will not allow them to forget their own crimes. A terrific gothic drama - full of ominous atmosphere rather than the usual exploitative horror devices.
