Film Description

Spielberg's philosophical fairytale centres on a young robot’s quest to be accepted as a real child and gain the love of his surrogate mother. This re-working of the Pinocchio fable injects a surprisingly darker element into the director’s canon fusing both his commercial and artistic sensibilities to create an intelligent, though-provoking piece of adult science fiction.
