Film Description

Brecht's Last Summer. Late Summer 1956, Bertolt Brecht is about to leave his house in Brandenburg to return to Berlin for the upcoming theatre season. Most of the many women in his life are there: wife, daughter & lovers old and new. The serenity of the countryside stands is stark contrast to the deep volatile emotions of the characters. Brecht is at the centre of this storm in a heaven and hell of human relationships & he struggles to make plans for a future that fate is about to cut short.
