Film Description

USA the 1900s. A young, impoverished unmarried couple move to a farm in Texas to escape the squalor of the city. The farmer falls in love with the woman, and, thinking he doesn't have long to live, she agrees to marry him for the inheritance. When the expected death fails to materialise, jealousy and impatience set in.
