This is definitely the best thing Eric Idle has done away from the Python fold. This is the story of the PreFab Four, with wonderfully written tunes by Neil Innes, appearances by many of the Saturday Night Live ! gang Belushi, Aykroyd, Murray etc and some great cameos by the likes of Paul Simon. This is a treat for Beatles fans, George Harrison even pops up in the film playing an interviewer, but equally enjoyable for those who know only a little of the legendary group. The biggest compliment this film can be paid is that without it Spinal Tap, The Blues Brothers, Bad News and probably even Stillwater would never have existed < less
