Film Description

There's not a dull moment in this wartime docu-drama based on the true tale of Allied POWs and their escape attempts from the daunting fortress of Colditz Castle. Strictly monitored as high risk category prisoners who had tried to escape from each prison in which they had previously been held, they continued to ingeniously apply themselves to achieving their ultimate goal of freedom.

This film is part of the following Customer Film Lists

POWs by Alan Prior

Ever since seeing 'The Great Escape' as a boy, the study of POWs & POW escapes has been a passion of mine, fuelled by some great books & some great & not-so-great movies. This list is not exhaustice but does contain a wide cross-section of movies on the subject.

The Late Great Johnny Mills by Roger Paul

You could always depend on John Mills. Irrespective of the roles he played he could give an emotional portrayal, as good as anyhing out of the Method school. This list gives just a taste of some of his greatest moments on film. A forgotten hero.

War Movies by James Haiselden

Listed here are War films that I have in my collection. I also have a lot more but they could not be found by this system.
