Film Description

A made-for-TV drama, We'll Take Manhattan chronicles the love affair between 1960s fashion photographer David Bailey (Aneurin Barnard) and model Jean Shrimpton (Karen Gillan).

While on assignment in New York for his first Vogue shoot in 1962, Bailey infuriates his accompanying editor, Lady Clare Rendlesham (Helen McCrory), by throwing away the fashion photography rulebook in search of his own distinctive style. Over the course of the following week, the developing love affair between Bailey and his muse, Shrimpton, takes centre stage as the pair work together to create groundbreaking images that will help define the decade.
