Film Description

Celebrated British horror studio Hammer returns with Wake Wood - a chiller set in rural Ireland. City vet Patrick (Aidan Gillen) and his pharmacist wife Louise (Eva Birthistle) move to the country village of Wake Wood after their only daughter is killed in an attack by a crazed dog. In Wake Wood, Patrick and Louise learn from sinister village elder Arthur (Timothy Spall) about an ancient pagan ritual that will allow them three more days with their daughter. When they agree, far bigger questions begin to loom - what will they do when it's time for Alice to go back? Will she go back peacefully? Or are there more sinister forces at work?
