Film Description

The entire 1980 series of To Serve Them All My Days, based on the novel by R.F. Delderfield, in which John Duttine stars as David Powlett-Jones, a young soldier from the Welsh valleys who is invalided out of the army in the First World War and sent to work in a public school in Devon. Unconvinced that he is suited to teaching, he is however persuaded to stay and so begins a long relationship with the school. A sensitive and rewarding TV drama.
