Film Description

Sylvia Syms and June Ritchie star as Billa and Ginnie, two single girls sharing a London flat who both work as night club hostesses in the same Soho club. Jealousy arises when Ginnie becomes romantically entangled with rich married businessman Bob Shelbourne (Edward Judd). Meanwhile, Billa's schoolteacher father (William Hartnell) pays her a visit, and is shocked by her way of life. Let down by men and jaded by life's harsh lessons, the two women come to realise that they have no one to depend on but each other.
