Film Description

A tale of gang rivalries in 1960s Oklahoma, Francis Ford Coppola's classic coming-of-age drama The Outsiders was the film that launched the Brat Pack, starring C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Maccio, Rob Lowe, Matt Dillon, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise and Diane Lane.

When Ponyboy and Johnny, members of the poor 'Greasers' gang from the wrong side of the tracks, meet Cherry Valance and Marcia at the drive-in, the wealthy 'Socs' gang vow to take revenge on the Greasers for muscling in on their girls. Later that night tensions escalate when the two gangs meet, and suddenly Johnny and Ponyboy find themselves on the run for murder...
