Film Description

Set in the summer of 1954, this is the story of 12 year-old Matthias, mascot for the local football team and boot carrier for emerging star Helmut Rahn. Despite tough times at home, Matthias gets to play a part in the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland, where Germany beat the favourites hungary, in a match that came to be known as 'the miracle of Bern'.
