Film DescriptionA 1950s Western, The Man From The Alamo stars Glenn Ford as John Stroud, a fighter for Texan independence who is branded a coward after being chosen by lot to leave the Alamo before the bitter end. When all his compatriots are wiped out by the Mexican army, he is left with no proof that he was ordered to leave his post, and is perceived by everyone who knows him to be a deserter. Because of this unjust stigma, he must prove himself in battle all over again - even if it means using his mistaken identity to prove his courage and clear his name.
