Film Description

Thriller set in the criminal underworld of Tijuana, Mexico. Ray Liotta stars as veteran hired gun Mark Shields, who has been contracted to take out Pelon, the newly-installed boss of the Salazar crime cartel. The cartel, formerly run by Javier Salazar (Andy Garcia) until illness forced him to recruit loose cannon Pelon in his place, is under scrutiny from the highest quarters as it shifts its focus from locally-produced cocaine to heroin imported by the Taliban from Afghanistan. As rival mobsters and mysterious interlopers wage their warfare on the streets, Shields finds an unlikely ally in Olivia, a crystal meth addict trying to kick the habit for the sake of her young daughter.
