MovieMail's Review

"There are three sides to every story: my side, your side and the truth. And no-one is lying"

This extended montage of Robert Evans' professional and personal life, from young actor to practical grandfather of the producing scene is a gripping tale of Hollywood roller-coaster living.

Evans laid the golden eggs of, amongst others, Love Story, Godfather and Rosemary's Baby. He personified the role of producer and became, digressing for scandal and disaster, an archetype for the industry.

Visually, the film is quite something else - blending film clips, home video and intriguingly animated stills to great effect.

Coupled with his disarmingly frank, honest and self-deprecating narration, you have a film that is as unique as it is fascinating. A wonderful insight to the lives behind the credits - give yourself over to a true Hollywood original.
