Film DescriptionA dark, strange comedy, based on the best-selling novel by John Irving, The Hotel New Hampshire sees a New England family weathering all sorts of disasters to keep their hotel running in spite of it all. Then their father's friend Freud asks for help, so they move operations to a hostelry in Vienna with the same name. Excellent performances, great scenery and attention to detail make this a very good adaptation of Irving's fascinating novel.
