Film DescriptionAdult actress Sasha Grey stars as ambitious upmarket Manhattan call girl Chelsea, who charges $2,000 an hour for her 'girlfriend experience', a simulation of the complete romantic experience as opposed to a purely sexual encounter. The film chronicles several days in Chelsea's life against the backdrop of the run-up to the 2008 presidential elections as she goes about her business, looks for ways to expand her clientele and deals with her foundering relationship with boyfriend Chris. Meanwhile, new out-of-town client Philip appears to hold the promise of a more meaningful alliance. Could Chelsea be the next to succumb to the lure of the real 'girlfriend experience'?
