Film DescriptionEric Idle reunites many of his former Monty Python associates for this special performance of his comedic oratorio inspired in equal measure by Handel's Messiah and Monty Python's 'Life of Brian'. Performed at the Royal Albert Hall in October 2009, the event was held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the broadcasting of the original Monty Python television show. The show tells the tragi-comic tale of Brian (William Ferguson), the reluctant revolutionary who is mistaken for a Messiah.
