Film DescriptionBob Hope stars in this musical comedy as Jim Taylor, an innocent local politician who is set up as a fall guy by a group of corrupt Louisiana officials. When US senator Oliver Loganberry (Victor Moore) is assigned to investigate the irregularities, he ends up becoming entangled in the plot himself as Taylor goes to increasingly bizarre lengths to save himself.
