Film Description

The shocking, ongoing story of three men - Herman Wallace, Albert Woodfox and Robert King - who have spent decades in solitary confinement in Angola, the Louisiana State Penitentiary. They are known as the Angola Three, and in 1972 were convicted by an all-white jury with the murder of prison guard Brent Miller, despite the absence of any physical evidence or credible eyewitnesses, and sentenced to life imprisonment. This documentary features interviews with Wallace, Woodfox and King, and talks to attorneys and others involved with the case, including the widow of Brent Miller, who believes the men are innocent of her husband’s murder. Samuel L. Jackson narrates.
