Film Description
Action adventure Ferry to Hong Kong stars Orson Welles as the captain of a ship that recluctantly takes down-and-out drifter Curd Jurgens aboard.
When habitual drunk and troublemaker Mark Conrad (Jurgens) is expelled from Hong Kong after his bad behaviour gets too much, it is only through a lucky game of cards that he wins the right to stay on board. Whilst wooing beautiful passenger Liz (Sylvia Syms), Conrad is offered the chance to become a hero when the boat is hit by a typhoon and then pirates. Will he stand up and be counted or revert to his aimless drifter's life?
