Film DescriptionA comedy written and directed by Mike Judge, Extract stars Jason Bateman as Joel, a suburban food extract factory owner whose life is falling apart around his ears. His employees are an assortment of losers and misfits who seem intent on sabotaging the company's plans for a lucrative buyout and his wife won't have sex with him. Then things go from bad to worse when his best friend, pill-popping bartender Dean (Ben Affleck), cooks up a convoluted scheme to make Suzie cheat on him with dim-witted gigolo Brad, leaving Joel free to pursue new employee Cindy - with unforeseen and disastrous consequences.
