Film Description

French vampire horror in which director Jean Rollin, best known for the series of erotic, gothic vampire films he made in the 1970s, returns to that style in this tale of a Van Helsing-like professor and his assistant who venture into a parallel universe, filled with wolf-women, witches and baby-eating ogresses, to search for Count Dracula (Thomas Desfosse) and put a stop to his vampiric rule. While in this hellish place, the professor and his aide discover a bizarre order of nuns who are detaining the beautiful, but insane, Isabelle (Cyrille Iste), the betrothed of the still-extant Count, but before she can be questioned, the bride-to-be escapes...
