Film Description

Ashton's Sylvia, originally created for Sadler's Wells Ballet in 1952, has been lovingly restored to its glorious 3-act version in this re-staging by Christopher Newton for the company's 75th anniversary. Starring Britain's favourite ballerina, Darcey Bussell and recorded live at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden on 1st and 5th December 2005.
