Film Description

An Audie Murphy western, Apache Rifles finds him playing a captain whose conscience leads him into conflict with his military duty when he is sent to bring in a tribe of Apache Indians. He approaches the situation carefully and tactfully, but the locals are only concerned with getting rid of the Indians so they can be free to mine on the land, forcing him to make a difficult decision between his obligations and his sense of what is right.
