Adrift in Manhattan DVD, 2007

Alfredo de Villa directs this tale of intersecting lives brought together on the New York underground. Heather Graham stars as Rose, an optometrist unable to come to terms with the death of her baby, who has distanced herself from life in general, and her husband in particular. Arriving at her office unannounced, Tommaso (Dominic Chianese), an artist, is struggling to cope with the onset of blindness, and like Rose, finds it hard to reach out for help. As Rose attempts to ease Tommasso's fears, she becomes a focus of attention for Simon (Victor Rasuk), a teenager whose life has been stifled by his overbearing mother.
